The Story of a Pet Lover Lassie, Beethoven and Benjie have always been my favorite actors. If you do not know who there single-named actors, they are the three of the most famous pets of tinsel town - yes, you heard right, they are dogs. There are other famous pets that I can remember but if I try to mention all movies that had pets as stars, I will probably fill this page up with names and movie titles.

I have always liked pets. I have 10 dogs at home, 9 of which are mongrel and my favorite one is a rottweiler. Her name's Perky and she is about 10 years old. As her name suggests, she moves around a lot. She is always running from one room to another, always climbing chairs and stairs. I once put her on top of a chair because I wanted to make her stop pacing the room.

She jumped down and her knee was broken. I thought it was going to be fine for her. After a few days, I noticed she wasn't eating her food. My friend who is a certified pet lover told me to check her temperature and I found out that Perky had a fever.

I remember crying all the way to the vet because I was so afraid she would die. She was like my baby. I slept with her beside me. I bathed her. I fed her and gave her vitamins every day. I was afraid for her to die because I knew I was going to miss her.

Aside from dogs, I have always loved the internet and this was where I found other pet lovers through international forums. I found this site made in Indonesia, the one which was dubbed as the only bilingual site in the country. Anyway, this site sold purebred dogs, cats, and other exotic pets at good prices.

As I look at their showroom, I realize that they have great including this cute West Highland white terrier. You see, I had a terrier when I was younger, but it died because I failed to have it neutered and it got pregnant. I guess it was too small to bear puppies. My sisters and I called her Kitty, thanks to our youngest who had trouble identifying a dog from a cat.

Anyway, I have found friends in the forums I am a member of. It's probably due to our similar liking for dogs that made us attracted with each other. Some of my friends in these forums come from other countries and in several of our discussions, I always learn new things. Through my pet lover friends, I learn how to take better care of my dogs. We also exchange ideas n how to keep our pets satisfied.

I am happy because I have built lasting friendships with people from different countries.
